I love the genius of Disney Imagineers. Not only do they design amazing attractions, they seem to enjoy adding little touches many never notice. Among them are Disneyland’s Hidden Mickeys—three circles that represent Walt Disney’s iconic character. You can find these little gems in the arrangement of jewels on a King Arthur’s Carousel horse, a place setting on the banquet table in the Haunted Mansion, engraved on a breast plate in Pirates of the Caribbean, and many, many more places throughout the Disneyland Resort.
If you want helpful hints, check out Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World’s Best Kept Secrets or Finding Mickey website.
I’ve been searching for Hidden Mickeys for several years and have discovered they’re often easier to find, occurring naturally in everyday items.
Imagine my surprise to find one in my water bottle, one Friday morning, on my way to Disneyland.
